Digi-Key is growing at a rapid rate and continues to gain market share. It is Digi-Keyʹs customer-centered business philosophy that will continue to drive the companyʹs rapid growth far into the future. The proposed .digikey gTLD is a restricted, exclusively-controlled TLD that would serve the purpose of enhancing and expanding Digi-Key’s ability to:
- deliver product and service marketing⁄advertising;
- enable marketing campaign activation;
- facilitate interaction and communication with individuals and entities with whom Digi-Key has a business relationship;
- improve business operations;
- simplify Internet user navigation to information about Digi-Key products and services; and
- provide an online environment which instills trust and engenders confidence in Digi-Key and its affiliates."[2]
