AusRegistry is the current Registry Operator and wholesale provider for all commercial .au (Australian) domain names including .com.au and .net.au and the non-commercial domain names .edu.au and .gov.au.

AusRegistry operates under a Registry Licence Agreement with auDA (.au Domain Administration). auDA is the policy authority and industry self-regulatory body for the .au domain space.

AusRegistry maintains the database of domain names registered in each 2LD, a public WhoIs service for looking up the identity of the Registrant of a domain name, and the nameservers for each 2LD.
