Creating A Personal Page
Creating a Personal Wiki Page
Creating a personal wiki page is a great way for members of the ICANNWiki "community" to get to know you by showing your own, unique stamp on the "community".
Suggestions for your personal wiki page include:
- Include a bio about yourself.
- Include the organization you are with.
- Include "community" based interests and affiliations.
- Include what services you may be able to bring to others in the "community".
- Include a picture of you so people can place a face with a name. Some rather obstinate members of our community have had fun by placing their hands over their face or, one in particular, wearing a medical mask. Either way this is a way for your personality to shine through!
Here are a couple of profiles you may use as an idea:
Me -- Chuck Kisselburg
Paul Goldstone
John Berryhill
Richard Lau
Jothan Frakes
To make sure you are listed in the wiki's "People" listing, make sure you add "Category:People" at the bottom of your profile.
The other nice thing about having a personal wiki page is you can attach your personal wiki page to your organization's wiki page, thus giving your organization's page the "human" side.
