Dynadot is an ICANN-accredited domain name registrar and web host located in San Mateo, California. It was founded in 2002 by a software engineer, and its primary focus is engineering and design. Their mission is to bring their customers' all their website needs into one place, making domain registration, web hosting, and website building simple and economic. They have grown steadily and now serve thousands of customers from 108 different countries around the world.[1]

Given that their site is fully automated they are able to provide their customers with registration and hosting services for some of the most competitive prices in the industry.

Products

Domain Names: Dynadot provides competitive domain registration and transfers for bulk and everyday customers. They offer advance domain management simply and affordably. Dynadot offers over 300 TLDs ranging from ccTLDs, gTLDs to IDNs(internationalized domain names).

Website Builder: In 2014 Dynadot launched their easy to use website builder. The website builder offers features fully responsive templates that are completely customizable. They offer their website builder for free along with upgraded packages for more extensive website needs.

Web Hosting: Dynadot offers two affordable hosting packages. Their basic hosting package is for simple, static HTML websites and their VPS hosting package is for advanced websites and webmasters.

SSL Certificates: Dynadot offers Alpha SSL certificates to secure websites. The SSL certificate is a 2048 bit chained root certificate with a 256 bit Encryption Level.

Personalized Customer Service

Though their site is automated they still encourage their customers to personally reach out with them with any questions or concerns; and they individually respond to every email. Customer service is handled by representatives that are managed by software engineers, so technical questions are not misunderstood or difficult to handle. Their customer service is available via phone, email and live chat 7 days a week.[2][3]

Dynadot Domain Marketplace

Dynadot's Domain Marketplace offers expired domain auctions where customers can bid on expired domains before they are deleted. Dynadot also offers domain backordering where customers can submit a backorder request for pending delete domains. When a customer puts in a request for a domain backorder Dynadot will attempt to catch the domain when it is released. Lastly, Dynadot features a Domain Marketplace where customers can buy and sell domains. Dynadot customers can list their domains for sale on the Dynadot marketplace and when they are sold they receive payment in Dynadot account credit.
