George DeCarlo

George J. DeCarlo III is Senior Vice President in charge of Marketing for Dotster, Inc., and was part of the original team that conceived and launched Dotster in 1999.

As VP of Marketing, DeCarlo is responsible for marketing efforts, product development strategy, and on-line advertising. During DeCarlo's tenure, Dotster has successfully launched innovative, customer-centric product lines and seen triple-digit growth in the business.

DeCarlo has served in various roles at Dotster. As General Manager upon Dotster's inception he was the driving force in the creation of the original infrastructure. After this, he served as Chief Technology Officer where he conceived and led the development of a full suite of value-added services including the NameWinner expired domain auction product.

Prior to Dotster, DeCarlo developed the business plan and technical infrastructure for a start-up Internet Service Provider and Web Hosting company where was responsible for all technical aspects of the business as well as marketing and growth initiatives.

DeCarlo graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Portland in 1999.
