[[Kieren Mc Carthy]] of .Nxt reported that the revised RAA will be published by ICANN on February 15, 2012 for public comment. He alleged that ICANN conducted secret negotiation with registrars and it failed to provide adequate openness and transparency regarding the RAA negotiations. For this reason, .nxt conducted its own investigation to find out what actually transpired during the negotiations. * Disagreements between registrars
* ICANN is willing to "throw registrars under the bus" just to keep governments happy and show that problems are resolved
* ICANN's negotiating team was under pressure to deliver results
* Registrars were forces by ICANN to make public statements regarding the changes in the RAA although they do not have any idea how introduce them.
* Some registrars refused to acknowledge the changes and were advocating to walk-away from the negotiations
Mc Carthy also reported that the .nxt investigation highlights several failure committed by the ICANN Staff while conducting the RAA negotiation process.
