Kurt Silberschneider is a co-producer and owner of Alta Vista (a production company). He has been a successful motion picture distributor for a long time. He has produced big hits such as "Woman in Flames" and "Abwärts".[1]
Career History
Kurt's association with the film industry started with the Warner International Trainee Program, after which he moved on to be the head of sales department for Warner/Columbia Distribution in Germany. He soon became general manager of Warner Bros. After ten years of work with the company he started his own production company named Alta Vista, and co-produced box office success "The Adventures of Pinocchio" in 1996.[2][3] For some time he remained partner with Dieter Geissler in CineMagic Film GmbH in Germany, which he later purchased.
