Luca Barbero is a Trademark Attorney. He is the Director of Barbero & Associates and Partner at Studio Barbero. He is also a WIPO Arbitrator and Mediator.^[1]

Luca is a frequent lecturer in Italian, as well as a member of the following organizations: INTA, ECTA, MARQUES, and ICANN's Intellectual Property Constituency.^[2]

Career History

Barbero has been working as a Trademark Attorney in Italy since 1999; prior to that, he worked for the Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market in Alicante, Spain.

He was appointed to his position as WIPO Arbitrator in 2000. In that same year, he established Studio Barbero, which specialized in intellectual property rights on the Internet and domain name arbitration, and Barbero & Associates Ltd, a company headquartered in London, specializing in worldwide domain name registrations, search and monitoring services, and confidential acquisitions of trademarks and domain names.^[3]

Barbero has also worked as Partner at Jacobacci & Partners S.p.A for seven years.^[4]

Education

Luca graduated in Law at the University of Turin and received a Masters in International Business from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1992.^[5]
