Monica Abalo has been a Professor at the University of Business and Social Sciences since 2009. She has been a member of ISOC since 2006, and the President at Argentina Chapter of ISOC since 2008. She is the current director and owner of Project Consulting.[1]
Career History
Monica was a contract manager at COMSAT Argentina (a Telecommunications industry) from 2000 to 2006. She was also a legal affairs manager at COMSAT from 1998 to 2006 .[2]
Participation
Ms. Abalo was selected by the ISOC Ambassador Program to participate in the Internet Governance Forum in November, 2007, in Río.[3] She was the 2009 IGC MAG Candidate.[4]
She participated with CICTE in courses of CSIRT about related-legal frameworks within the region[5], and an Open Session of Internet Governance Forum held in Rio de Jenerio.[6] She was a member of the working group organized by the National Office of Information Technologies.She has an ongoing radio entitled "Right to Internet".[7]
