Ted Mooney is the Senior Director of Memberships and Services at ISOC. He joined ISOC on June 1, 2011,^[1] and in this capacity he manages membership and chapter development.^[2]

Career History

Mr. Mooney served as the Country Director for the Peace Corps in Lesotho and Uganda for the four years prior to joining ISOC. There he had the responsibility of managing administration and finances, volunteer health, safety and security, training, and programming. Prior to joining Peace Corps staff, Ted was a private consultant to small and mid-sized technology companies for marketing, sales and customer support from 2001 to 2007. He has also been the Strategic Alliances Manager at SumTotal (Formerly Docent) and the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at NICE Systems, a company which he co-founded.^[3] He was once a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal.^[4]

Education

Mr. Mooney has Bachelors degree in English from Villanova University, a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Marketing Certification from Columbia University's Executive MBA program.^[5]
