Jonathan Rosenberg is the Chief Technology Strategist at Skype,[1][2] where he is responsible for shaping and driving the company's technology strategies and overall architecture.

Jonathan is active with the IETF. He was the Co-Author of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).[3] He is one of the most prolific authors of Internet standards, having written 56 RFCs. He was a member of the IAB for 2 years (2004-2006).[4]

Jonathan was also a Member of the IANA.[5]

Mr. Rosenberg received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from MIT and PhD from Columbia University.
