SyungKyoo Park is the President of National Internet Development Agecy of Korea.[1]

He attended ICANN Seoul[2] and ICANN Mexico.[3]

Career History

Mr. Park has been working since 1992. His working experience includes the following positions.

  • Depositary Team Leader and General Affairs Team Leader at Ministry of Information and Communication (1992-1996)
  • Guest Professor at University Of Colorado ITP(1996-1997)
  • Kangwon Regional Communication Office Director and Korea Post Office Director at Ministry of Information and Communication (1998-2000)
  • Computation Management Director at Ministry of Information and Communication (2001-2003)
  • Member of a Standing Committee at Korea Communications Commission (2003-2005)[4]
  • Director General at Knowledge Economy Officials Training Institute (2005-2006)
  • Invitation Professor at Seoul National Univ. of Technology The Graduate School of Public Policy and IT (2006-2007)
  • President at NIDA (2007-Present)
  • He served on the advisory committee of Global IPv6 summit in 2008[5] and in 2009[6]

Education

He hold a bachelor in Economics from the HanYang University, Masters in Public Administration from Graduate School of Public Administration, Seoul National University, Masters in Economics from State University Of New york and Ph.D in Public Administration from the University of Seoul.[8]
