Mauel Gonzalez is the president of the PuntoGAL Association. More specifically, PuntoGAL is in charge of the TLDs for the Galacian language and culture. PuntoGAL is an approved ICANN registry.
Current position
Manuel Gonzalez is currently the Chairman of PuntoGAL, but in the same time he is also the Director for the Institute of the Galacian Language and secretary of the Real Academia Galega. [1]

Being the Chairman of PuntoGAL, Manuel Gonzalez must also stay in touch with the changes imposed by ICANN and his participation at ICANN's meetings is important. Having this in mind, he was present at the 34th ICANN meeting as a representative of PuntoGAL. [2] Likewise, he is also the official representative of PuntoGAL and Galicia, at variousICANN meetings. In 2009, Manuel Gonzalez offered an interview after attending the 36th International meeting of ICANN at Seoul related to the plans of ICANN and the possible implications for PuntoCAT and Galicia.[4]
