.gay is a new generic top level domain name (gTLD) proposal to ICANN by two contending applicants, the Dot Gay Alliance and dotgay LLC. The proposed .gay string is dedicated for the LGBT community. Scott Seitz is the CEO of Dot Gay Alliance and selected Minds + Machines to provide back-end registry services.[1] On the other hand, Joe Dolce is the Founder and Executive Director of dotgay LLC and Neustar will serve as its registry service provider.
