Mr. Wajdi Homaid Al Quliti is currently the Director of IT Department, Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO) at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah, KSA. Since July 2010, Mr.Al Qulaiti has been responsible for the ICT systems, Information Security, Knowledge Management, infrastructure, ICT International Conferences/relations and support services of the OIC General Secretariat and its abroad Permanent Observers offices in New York, Geneva, and Brussels.

Before joining OIC, Mr.Al Qulaiti held the post of Senior Information Technology & Security Consultant and Senior Contracts Negotiation Advisor at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia at Washington D.C, USA from 2004 to 2009. Mr.Al Qulaiti also served as Computer and Telecommunications Security Supervisor at King Abdullah Air Base in Jeddah from 1992 to 2004.

In addition, he is OIC’s permanent observer to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) in USA.

Wajdi Alquliti is the Director of the IT Department of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which represents 57 countries.[1] He leads the team in overall IT administration, management, and development within the OIC General Secretariat.[2] He is currently involved in ICANN as an observer of the GAC and tracking the New TLD Program on a high-level.

He is also a lecturer at Effat University in Jeddah and a contributor to the OIC Journal.[2]
