Danny Aerts is the Managing Director and CEO at the Stiftelsen för Internetinfrastruktur (IIS), which manages .se.[1]
A native of the Netherlands, Aerts moved to Sweden during the mid-90s. In 2006, he left his position as CEO at Swedish web portal Spray to join IIS.[2] He has also been employed at several telecom companies, including Unisource Mobile, Telia and PTT Telecom.
Since October 2008, he has been serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at EURid;[3] Aerts has also been serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Followit since the same time.[4]
He graduated cum laude from Utrecht University, where he studied economic geography.[5]
