He is also the Slovenian accredited represenative in the European Group for Policy Coordination for Academic and Industrial Research Networking ([[ENPG]]), [[ICANN]]’s Governmental Advisory Group ([[GAC]])<ref>[http://gac.icann.org/gac-representatives/mr-davor-sostaric GAC]</ref>, European Commission’s High Level Group on Internet Governance (HLIG). and (on behalf of the Presidency of EU) a member of Multistakeholder Advisory Group for United Nations Internet Governance Forum (IGF). Davor Sostaric is a graduate of Mathematics. Prior to his employment in public administration, he has been involved in academic and research areas (computer sciences and networking). Today, he covers various fields regarding information society, internet, information infrastrucutre, WSIS process, internet governance etc.
