Mr. Vargas has been member of the International Chamber of Commerce Subcommittee for Intellectual Property in Colombia and the panel of experts on the Iberoamerican Observatory of Copyright. Even further, he serves as expert of the Congress of the Republic of Colombia’s discussion committee for the ISP liability and intellectual property law project (2011). He is also an advisory board member of the Legal Issues Journal of the Rosario University and the Colombian Journal of Tort Law. In addition to those professional memberships, Mr. Vargas was a frequent conferencist on intellectual property matters to a wide variety of professional audiences.
