.ps is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) officially assigned to the Palestine.[1] The registry is managed by the Palestinian National Internet Naming Authority (PNINA).

History

The .ps domain was first applied for in 1997, by a group of Palestinian technology professionals. This request was denied.

After a year of lobbying effort, .ps was reserved, but not granted. Following the UN Resolution that granted full membership to Palestine in 1999, .ps was listed in the ISO 3166 and the .ps was assigned to the Palestinian Occupied Territories.
