The Arab Knowledge and Management Society (AKMS) is a Jordanian organization pioneer in offering Arab Certified Quality Manager (ACQM) program in the Arab region in partnership with its sister company, the 'Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College of Business (TAG College)

AKMS was founded on August 29, 1989 in Buffalo, New York in the United States when a group of managers and business owners realized the importance and benefit of having an organization serving the business community in the Arab region.[1] The society operates under the management of its parent company, the Talal Abu Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-org), chaired and founded by Mr. Talal Abugazaleh.

It was originally named as “Arab Management Society”and officially registered in Amman, Jordan on October 10, 1990.[2]

The name of the organization was eventually changed to “Arab Knowledge and Management Society” to emphasize its objective in creating a society of knowledge using modern management skills and systems.
