Ron Kawchuck was elected to the Board for a three-year term during the 2007.
Education
Ron Kawchuck studied at the University of Manitoba at the B.Sc. in Physics.
Employment History
Besides being a member of CIRA, Ron Kawchuck strengthened his abilities and skills by working:
- President at RKS Luggage
- President at Canadian Association of Internet Providers (CAIP)[1]
Past CIRA professional experience
In 2002 Ron Kawchuck was part of the Board of Directors, according to the CIRA minute from December 11, year 2002. [2]
- 2001-2002: Elected Member of the Board of Directors of CIRA;
- 2002-2003: Vice-Chair of CIRA as Director with a one-year term;
- 2003-2010: Elected Member of the Board of Directors of CIRA. [3]
Ron Kawchuck is part of the Executive Committee of CIRA.
CIRA Board Committees
In order to fulfill its mission and vision, CIRA Board Committees are divided into four sub-committees, where each committee focuses on a specific strategic area of the organization itself. The four sub-committees are listed below:
- Executive committee: Ron Kawchuck is part of this committee;
- Governance Committee;
- Audit Committee;
