.ps is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) officially assigned to the Palestine.[1] The registry is managed by the Palestinian National Internet Naming Authority (PNINA).

History

The .ps domain was first applied for in 1997, by a group of Palestinian technology professionals. This request was denied.

After a year of lobbying effort, .ps was reserved, but not granted. A UN Resolution granted full to membership to Palestine in 1999. In 2000, .ps was listed in the ISO 3166 and the .ps was assigned to the Palestinian Occupied Territories.
