.sas is a proposed Brand gTLD in ICANN's new gTLD program. However, there are two brands applying for rights to the abbreviated form of their names.
Current Applicants
- Scandinavian Airlines System Group[1] The airlines group was originally planning on discussing their TLD plans at a London conference, but subsequently cancelled the talk.[2]
- Research IP LLC - a whooly owned subsidiary of SAS Institute.[3]
