.starhub is a proposed Brand gTLD under ICANN's new gTLD Program, the extension is being applied for by Singaporean telecommunications firm, StarHub. The announcement regarding .starhub was the first such announcement by a Brand TLD applicant since the opening of the application window on January, 12 2012, and it was only the fifth Brand TLD applicant to publicly confirm their plans to apply.
StarHub has partnered with ARI Registry Services to run its technical back-end, and with Melbourne IT as an application consultant.[1]
