AGESIC (Agencia de Gobierno Electrónico y Sociedad de la Información) is the National Agency for e-Government and Information Society in Uruguay. Though it is a governmental organization, it works with technical autonomy to offer improved Information Technology and Communications (ICT) services to the citizens of Uruguay via diverse means, often via e-Government programs and education. It is based in Montevideo.[1]
