Amanda Fessenden is the Director of Industry Relations at Uniregistry, and the former Director of Research and Client Services at Internet Pro.[1]
At Uniregistry, Amanda is the liaison to registrars, works in business development and marketing, and tracks policy.
At Internet Pro, she helped clients in preparing new gTLD applications for ICANN's New gTLD Program.[2]
The first ICANN Meeting she attended was ICANN 43 in San Jose, Costa Rica.[3]
Career History
Before joining Internet Pro in 2011, Ms. Fessenden was a Research Associate at a consulting firm called ClearView Energy Partners in Washington, D.C. She has also spent time teaching and studying in France.[4]. From 2009-2010, she was a Staff Assistant in the Chairman's Office at the National Endowment for the Arts. She has also done an internship at the United States Senate.[5]
Education
Ms. Fessenden graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in International Relations and French Language and Literature. She is fluent in French[6] and plays cello in the band Sweet Weasel[7].
