Richard Reese is the CEO of Iron Mountain, a position he first held for 27 years between 1981 and 2008. During this period, Iron Mountain grew from $3 million to more than $2.7 billion in annualized revenue and became the leader in information management services. In his 30-year tenure at Iron Mountain, Mr. Reese has held a number of leadership roles for the company. He has been an Iron Mountain director since 1990 and is currently chairman of the board a position he has held since 1995. Between June 2008 and April 2011, Mr. Reese served as executive chairman of the board. Prior to joining Iron Mountain, Reese lectured on entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School and provided consulting services to small- and medium-sized emerging companies. Mr. Reese is a member of the investment committee of Schooner Capital LLC. He is also a director of Charles River Laboratories, Inc., a publicly held company. He is a former president and director of PRISM International, a trade association of records management companies. Reese holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in ceramic engineering from Clemson University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
