Professional Achievements

Daniel Karrenberg is one of the RIPE NCC founders, and an important contributor for the first pan-European ISP.[1] He helped found RIPE in 1989, and went on to create the RIPE NCC, the first RIR, in the 1990s. Throughout his career, Mr. Karrenberg played a important role in developing several Internet services such as RIPE Routing Information Service (RIS), and Name Server Demon (NSD). He is also a member of various boards, and is an ISOC trustee.[2]
