David Steele is an Intellectual Property Attorney and Partner at the law firm Christie, Parker & Hale LLC in Newport Beach, CA. In addition, Mr. Steele is an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School teaching Trademark and Internet Law.[1]

In January 2009, David Steele led the prosecution team that garnered the largest judgment awarded for "cybersquatting" at that time. Verizon was awarded $33.15 million by a Federal court in the Northern District of California ruling against OnlineNIC.[2]
