A table of contents will appear in any article after 3 or more sections are created. Generally this is not necessary, so should you note that a table appears on an article you write it is important that you remove it. The formatting for this is: <nowiki>__NOTOC__</nowiki> -Those are two underscores (_) on each side of the NOTOC.
Leave table of contents in for LONG articles, i.e., those that require scrolling to view the entire article.
