History
Pierre Berecz and Philip Van Gelder first establsihed anco.net on July 16, 1997. It is one of the first universal domain name availability seach engine which offers every available extension. Two years later in 1999, Stephan Van Gelderjoined the team and launched INDOM as a domain name registrar.[2]
In 2002, INDOM was launched in the United States. The company also moved its headquarters in Paris.. In 2005, the company opened two new offices located in Sophia-Antipolis (INDOM SOUTH) and Strasbourg (INDOM EUROPE).On October 11, 2007 INDOM grew internationally and opened its office in Hongkong at the company launched the .asiadomain name.Group NBT acquired INDOM on December 2010 and became its subsidiary.[3]
Accreditations
INDOM was accredited by AFNIC on December 28, 1999, by ICANN on July 27, 2005 and the first registrar in France to be accredited by Eurid on July 16, 2005. The company was also an accredited for .asia on August 2007 and many other domain registries.[4]
