Malawi Sustainable Development Network Programme (Malawi SDNP) is the sponsor organization that manages and administers the .mw ccTLD for Malawi.[1]

The .mw domain is an Open Use ccTLD, with no restrictions on registration at the top level.[2] The second-level domain gov.mw is restricted to government agencies.[2] The SDNP strongly recommends utilizing an accredited registrar to register .mw domains.[3] While it does appear that it is still possible to apply for a domain via email using a template common to many early registration services,[4] the NIC.mw website has a message indicating that the SDNP is no longer acting as a registrar.[5]
