Michael Niebel is responsible for the network and information society area within the European Commission's Directorate General for Information Society and Media. He is responsible for issues related to .eu websites and the EU's relations with the European Network and Information Security Agency.[1] Mr. Niebel is a representative within ICANN's Governmental Advisory Committee.[2] He is also a representative of the European Commission at conferences such as the WSISWorld Summit on Information Society.
