Mwendwa Kivuva has been involved with domain Registrars[1] since December 2002; he has also been an ICT Administrator at the University of Nairobi since September 2007. Being a Certified Information Systems Auditor, he's been on the Communications Committee of the Kenya chapter of ISACA.[2]

Mwendwa is the currently the Secretary General of Internet Society Kenya Chapter, and the ALS representative, and he has been involved with ICANN through ISOC from 2012, and was instrumental in the formation of the first At-Large Structure in Kenya through ISOC Kenya chapter.[3]. Mwendwa was an ICANN Fellow at ICANN 47 in Durban, South Africa.[4], and a fellow in INCANN 50 in London, England. He is also a member of the Kenya IGF Working Group since 2013.[2]. He is also an ISOC Ambassador to the 2013 IGF in Bali, Indonesia.[5]
