Patrick Vande Walle is a member of the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) and the Security and Stability Advisory Committee (SSAC), as well a member of the Board of Trustees of The Internet Society. He is also the founder of the DotSport Registry project, an applicant for the .sport Top Level Domain. Additionally, he is an official at the European Commission. He previously served on The Internet Society's board of trustees.

Past Work

He was the founder and chairman of the Luxembourg chapter of The Internet Society.[1]

Previously he was a Project Manager for New Information Technologies at European Commission - Publications Office, an assistant at DG Information Society at European Commission, an assistant at DG Research at European Commission, Systems and Telecoms Manager at Trading room at Paribas Bank and Unix and Groupware Specialist at WordPerfect.
