Beginnings

She became involved in the Internet Governance process in 2006 via her work as the project manager of Medienstadt Leipzig e.V., which is a German not for profit organization and recognized At-Large Structure. In July, 2006, she attended the ICA-IAMCR Expert Meeting in Rathen, Germany; this led to the establishment of GIGANET, The Global Internet Governance Academic Network, and also helped establish the Summer Schools in Internet Governance.[3]
