Scott Schnell is the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Strategy and Business Development at Verisign. His responsibilities include managing the overall strategic direction of the company, fostering new business initiatives, managing key business partnerships and leading Verisign’s marketing worldwide.[1] He joined Verisign in August, 2012.
Career History
Mr. Schnell is the co-founder of VideoIQ, Inc., and he served as president and CEO until joining Verisign. The company specializes in video analytics. Other previous experience includes a notable tenure at RSA security, where he served as senior vice president of sales, services and marketing at RSA security, leading the company to record revenue and successfully rebranding RSA and its parent company into the single RSA brand. Schnell has also held senior level positions in marketing and sales at Apple and Photonics Corporation.
Scott Schnell earned a MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah.[2]
