Shernon Osepa is Manager of Regional Relations, Caribbean at ICANN. He joined ICANN in July, 2008. [1]

Prior to joining ICANN he was Policy Advisor with the Regulatory Authority in the Netherlands Antilles. As a part of his responsibilities he acted as a liaison with the regional Caribbean organizations involved in ICT. Previously, he worked for almost nine years with the local telecommunications incumbent UTS/Setel in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles.

Shernon is a national of Curacao. He is fluent in Dutch, English, Spanish, Papiamento (local language of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao), and has a working understanding of French.

Education

Osepa holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University for Professional Studies in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University for Professional Studies in Enschede, the Netherlands and a Master's degree in Telecommunications Regulation and Policy from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad & Tobago.
