Fedor Smirnov has been with domain industry for almost 10 years.
He started working in the PR department of RU-CENTER (the biggest Russian domain names registrar), for 3 years he has been in charge of reseller channel and strategic partnerships. 2012 Fedor has joined Webnames.ru (Regtime Ltd.) as the Chief Marketing Officer. For the next 3 years he has been involved into launching of .РУС IDN New gTLD in Russia and many other big industry projects.
2016 Fedor switched to Realtime Register, ICANN accredited registrar from the Netherlands, as the Chief Commercial Officer Russia. Realtime Register RUS, which is a subsidary of RTR, has direct .RU accreditation. 2017 Fedor Smirnov continued working with RTR in the new role of Head of Business Development (Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS).
