Dana Cramer is a PhD student in Toronto, Canada. Dana's research focuses on the political economy of Internet Protocols. Her work traces global internet governance of internet infrastructure and standardization for Network2030. She has published on topics of broadband and telecommunications policy. Dana completed degrees and professional certificates from the University of Calgary. She has worked on projects on Canadian digital privacy policies, 5G development in Canada, teaching and learning, and recommendations for policymakers on Canadian communication and cultural policies. Dana won the 2020 CRTC Prize for Excellence in Policy Research – Master’s.
