Applicants

There are several entities that filed for the .family string seeking the approval of the internet governing body to include it in the root zone of the internet domain name system (DNS) and to manage the operations of its domain name space. The applicants include: [1]

  1. Top Level Domain Holdings Ltd.- It is one of 68 new gTLD applications filed for by the company on its own behalf.[2]
  2. Famous Four Media (Diamond Registry Limited)- This is one of the 61 new gTLDs applied by the company. [3]
  3. Donuts (Big Dynamite, LLC)- It is one of the companies with the largest number of new gTLD applications; a total of 307 strings.
