ICANN 2 was held in Berlin, Germany from between 25-27 May, 1999. All meetings took place the Hotel Adlon.
Key developments
The first day saw the new advisory committees meet, the Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC) and Membership Advisory Committee, meet. There was also a presentation from IANA which talked about delegation practices. Each of the seven constituencies of the Domain Name Supporting Organization also engaged in meetings.
