Paul M Kane is an experienced CEO and Chairman of a group of companies having been involved in the software development/Internet industry since the early 80's. Paul’s group of companies currently employ 114 staff in offices based in UK, Japan, US and satellite offices in Oman and Dubai.

ICB] (UK and Tokyo office) provides Registry services to 14 TLDs both directly (like .AC, .SH, .IO) and other TLDs as back-end technical contractor. In addition ICB owns and operates its own DNS infrastructure on 4 continents around the world, receiving around 12 billion queries per day providing 24x7x365 support. ICB’s business is providing technical, stable and robust solutions in the areas of iDN, ENUM, DNS resolution and TLD management to private companies and government agencies.

Paul is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of CENTR.org (the world’s largest TLD Registry Association) a membership organisation based in Brussels.

Paul was founder and CEO of REACTO.com, the world’s largest stand-alone provider of “gTLD Registrar in a box” platforms for ICANN Accredited Registrars. REACTO was sold in 2002. Paul was involved in the creation of ICANN in 1997 and served on the gTLD Policy Body (Name Council) for a number of years.

Paul is a Special Adviser to a number of Governments and United Nations Agencies for issues relating to E Commerce and the Internet.

• In 2010 Paul Kane was selected by ICANN as one of 7 TCRs (Trusted Community Representative) who are responsible for safe-guarding a share of the ROOT Zone's DNSSEC Recovery Key.
