Barbara Fraser - Chairperson of the Board, Public Interest Registry

Barbara Fraser is the manager of the Security and Integrity Consulting Engineering Group for Cisco Systems Inc. and is responsible for influencing the security features and characteristics of the company's products. Her current activities and interests include improving IPsec protocols, increasing security in IOS and improving security testing in Cisco's overall engineering development processes. She has been an active member of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) since 1999. She was editor of Site Security Handbook and has contributed to a number of other RFCs. She currently co-chairs the IPsec working group. Fraser has been a delegate to G-8 cybercrime workshops around the world and was a trustee of the Internet Society from 2000 to 2003.
