Was born on January 16, 1960 in New York City, the son of German and Swiss parents. I grew up in a musically-oriented family. Both siblings taking piano lessons and were encouraged by their parents who loved the music of Broadway. Father taught myself how to program, and when I was 19 I made his first software sale—of a game. At age 21, I moved to Canada to attend Queen’s University.
