Francis Monyango (Kenya)

Francis Monyango is attending ICANN59 as a newcomer. He studies law at the Kenya School of Law in Nairobi. He learned about ICANN while reading about internet governance which he is really passionate about. On the side, he is a law and policy analyst at Kenya ICT Network (KICTANet). While digging further in the roles of ICANN, he discovered the NextGen@ICANN Program which he applied and got accepted. Francis hopes that attending ICANN59 meeting will help him learn more about ICANN’s role on the internet governance sphere especially in the African continent.
